Sometimes we think people forget that when bombs fall, when war is waged, babies die. Just like the ones you and I have, innocent and helpless. Kind of unbelievable that anyone with kids could develop, deploy or justify the use of bombs to improve the world. Of course, I'm sure they were thinking, "I must do this to protect my own children," when, sadly, we are responsible for the safety all the world's children, not merely the ones we call our own. It's as Kahlil Gibran said, "Your children are not your children, they are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself." The needless death of children is the death of us all. |
